How to Update

It’s very important to keep your anticheat up to date. In the following guide you’ll find out how updating the anticheat works.

Auto-Update (Recommended)

Electron Anticheat includes an auto-update feature enabled by default. With this feature active, the software will automatically update to the latest version upon server restart. To ensure this feature is enabled:

• Check the Electron Anticheat configuration settings.
• Verify that the auto-update option is set to “enabled.”

Manual Update Steps

1. Download the Latest Version:

   • Access your Dashboard .
   • Navigate to the “Downloads” section.
   • Download the most recent version of Electron Anticheat.

2. Remove the Old Version:

   • Stop the Electron Anticheat resource on your server.
   • Delete the existing Electron Anticheat files from your server’s resources directory.

3. Install the New Version:

   • Extract the downloaded files.
   • Place the ElectronAC folder into your server’s resources directory.
   • Add start ElectronAC to your server.cfg if it’s not already present.
   • Restart your server to apply the changes.
